We have two licenced function rooms available for events such as parties, birthdays, dinners or dances.

In addition to our main function rooms we have smaller rooms available for meetings or conferences. Contact the main office for bookings.

About Croygas Sports Club

Croygas Sports Club started out as a sports facility provided by British Gas for their staff. Prior to this the grounds were owned by Metropolitan Gas which would have been around the 1920's. The club grounds were sited within the grounds of old Croydon Airport which was in use in WWII but has since been developed and looks very different today. Ten years ago the club became independantly owned and operated as British Gas gradually moved and dispersed and social/sports clubs were no longer supported.

Croygas today is a friendly club housing many different sports and we like to welcome people interested in a wide variety of sports. We have a very strong bowls club with a superb bowling green with indoor facilities for winter use. We also house a very active football section which runs team events throughout the season. Collingwood Athletic Club, which is a running club, meet here and starts weekday and evening events from here. Our cricket club is also active and holds matches throughout the season. For the racquet sports enthusiasts we have two squash courts, three shell/clay tennis courts and one hard court. We also have a very active social club with many events held throughout the year for members and their families.

We are also home to the National Grid (Croydon) Pensions Club who meet here on a regular basis and are amongst the oldest members of the original British Gas company that first began and used the club.
